Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Seafood Team Member to join our team at Whole Foods Market. As a Seafood Team Member, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized seafood department, and ensuring that our products are accurately stocked and displayed.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, making recommendations, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized seafood department, including cases, shelves, and floors.
  • Ensure that products are accurately stocked and displayed, including rotating stock, facing merchandise, and maintaining inventory levels.
  • Assist with receiving and stocking merchandise, including unloading trucks, stocking shelves, and rotating stock.
  • Participate in visual merchandising and display of products, including creating attractive displays and maintaining a visually appealing store environment.
  • Assist with inventory management, including counting and reconciling inventory, identifying and reporting discrepancies, and participating in inventory audits.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including assisting with special projects, events, and initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; prior retail experience preferred.
