About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Manager to join our team at Northrop Grumman. As a Cybersecurity Manager, you will be responsible for leading a small team of Information Systems Security Professionals (ISSOs/ISSMs) in assessing and mitigating risks to our classified information systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise a team of ISSOs/ISSMs in performing assessments of systems and networks within the networking environment.
  • Identify and mitigate risks to classified information systems.
  • Develop and implement strict program control processes to ensure compliance with government policies and regulations.
  • Assist in the implementation of required government policies, including DAAPM, JSIG, and ICD-503.
  • Support the formal Security Assessment process required by the company or government customer.
  • Effectively communicate with program management teams, the Enterprise Services Program Management Office Team, the Information Technology Organization, and Industrial Security.
Requirements
  • Master's degree with 3 years of Information Systems Security experience; OR a Bachelor's degree with 5 years Information Systems Security experience.
  • Must have a DoD 8570 IAM level II (or higher) security certification.
  • Candidates must have a current DOD Secret security clearance (at a minimum) to include a closed investigation date completed within the last 6 years OR must be enrolled in the DOD Continuous Evaluation Program (CEP).
Preferred Qualifications
  • The ideal candidate will have a Master's Degree in Cyber Security, Information Security, or similar STEM related discipline, to include 4 years of ISSO/ISSM experience with RMF.
  • Previous experience supporting a SIPRNet environment is highly desired.
  • Prior leadership, or management, experience is highly desirable.
  • Diverse classified information systems security / information assurance background.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Prior experience communicating with customer and program leadership.
