Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Breakfast Cook to join our culinary team at the Orlando Marriott Lake Mary. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality breakfast dishes to meet the expectations of our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook breakfast dishes, including eggs, pancakes, waffles, and other breakfast items, to meet the standards of our hotel.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with our culinary team to ensure seamless service and high-quality food products.
  • Sanitation and Safety: Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations and Marriott corporate standards.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all food products meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Time Management: Manage your time effectively to meet the demands of a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Requirements
  • Culinary Experience: Minimum of one year of experience in a culinary-restaurant environment, preferably in a fine dining background.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to read, write, and comprehend written, verbal, and diagrammed instructions.
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to follow simple mathematical formulas in the production of food products.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for prolonged periods, and perform other physical tasks associated with kitchen work.
