About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Food Service Associate to join our team at Spring Hills Lake Mary. As a key member of our food and beverage team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our residents and guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attend work as scheduled and follow our community's call-off procedures.
  • Take orders, serve food and drinks to residents in a timely, efficient, and courteous manner according to our standards.
  • Prepare and set up tables with clean linens, ensuring all silverware is cleaned and polished.
  • Accommodate all guest requests, including ice water, beverages, bread, and condiments.
  • Communicate and demonstrate knowledge of menu items and key ingredients, suggesting alternatives when appropriate.
  • Inform your supervisor if experiencing service difficulties or problems with a guest.
  • Ensure all closing duties are completed before sign-out.
  • Provide a positive, service-oriented attitude towards our guests and fellow associates.
  • Perform pre-busing of tables on a continual basis, clear plates in between courses, and keep tables free of excess clutter.
  • Work in a clean, sanitary, safe, and organized manner, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Non-Essential Functions
  • Attend all required training, in-services, and staff meetings.
  • Strive to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices.
  • Maintain a positive and professional demeanor towards residents, visitors, families, and co-workers.
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures of Spring Hills, LLC.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned.
