Key Responsibilities
  • Work directly with Loan Officers to assist in the origination, processing, and closing of loans.
  • Manage loan pipeline, ensure commitment and closing dates are met.
  • Monitor the status of each file and ensure accurate and efficient processing through closing.
  • Review files to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Work with internal and external customers.
  • Reach out to referral sources on behalf of Loan Officers.
  • Assist in marketing Loan Officers' services to new prospective referral partners.
  • Manage day-to-day transactions and relationships with customers and vendors.
  • Meet with potential borrowers to analyze financial situations and needs for purchase or refinance.
Requirements
  • Must have excellent multi-tasking, interpersonal, organizational, communication, and telephone etiquette skills.
  • Must be a self-starter, motivated, energetic, with excellent time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and take direction.
  • Updated and current knowledge of Fannie/Freddie guidelines.
  • Working knowledge of computers, including MS Word, Excel, and Internet.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of mortgage banking experience or related experience in sales/marketing.
