Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Worker/Cashier to join our team at Compass Group USA Inc. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for preparing, presenting, and serving food to our customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Food Preparation: Performs prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables.
  • Food Presentation: Weighs and measures designated ingredients, and carries pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from work stations, stove, and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards.
  • Food Service: Stores food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety, and rotation procedures, and cleans work areas, equipment, and utensils.
  • Customer Service: Distributes supplies, utensils, and portable equipment, and serves customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service.
  • Quality Control: Utilizes approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures, and standard portion control.
  • Inventory Management: Ensures compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
  • Sanitation and Safety: Assures compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.
