Food Service Worker/Cashier

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Worker/Cashier to join our team at Compass Group Careers. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and ensuring the highest quality food and beverage products are served to our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Perform cashiering duties, including handling cash and credit transactions, and maintaining accurate records of sales and customer interactions.
- Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers, ensuring that all products are presented in a clean and appealing manner.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations and guidelines.
- Restock supplies, utensils, and equipment as needed, and ensure that all areas are well-stocked and organized.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Work effectively as part of a team, communicating with colleagues and management to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management, including opening and closing procedures, and maintaining accurate records and reports.
- Previous food service experience is preferred, but not required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds, and stand for long periods of time.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
