We are seeking a dedicated CNA to enhance our care team.
The role of the CNA involves delivering direct care and emotional support to residents while ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee a specific group of residents during your shift, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Monitor and document changes in residents' conditions, including physical and behavioral observations.
- Respond promptly to security alerts and resident calls.
- Communicate any increased care requirements to the supervisor or Health Care Coordinator.
- Assist with continence management and maintain sanitation standards in resident areas.
- Serve and collect food trays, noting any refusals or changes in appetite.
- Ensure cleanliness in residents' rooms and communal areas.
- Adhere to hygiene and health standards in all care practices.
- Support residents in maintaining their independence and dignity.
- Engage residents in daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Facilitate participation in life enrichment activities.
- Provide assistance to all guests, family members, and team members.
- Perform resident laundry as needed.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by the Supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Preferred certification as a Certified Nurse's Aide.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Previous experience with senior care is preferred.
