Job Overview

Certified Home Nursing Solutions is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional to join our team in our Day Program. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in assisting clients with daily activities, transporting participants to and from program, and participating in community outings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care and support to clients, promoting their social and emotional well-being.
  • Transport clients to and from the Day Program and provide assistance as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
  • Drive Agency vehicle and ensure safe transportation of clients.
  • Assist clients with mobility needs, including lifting and transferring.
  • Establish positive relationships with clients, promoting trust and comfort.
  • Monitor and maintain a clean, healthy, and safe environment.
  • Document client progress and maintain accurate records.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • 2+ years of driving experience and a minimum of 2 years of DSP experience (preferred).
  • CMT Certification.
