The Machine Operator is a crucial role within our manufacturing operations, responsible for the effective management of various machinery including blow-mold, grinders, trimmer machines, and conveyor systems. This entry-level position focuses on maintaining production efficiency while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Comply with corporate safety protocols and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Operate blow-mold machinery to produce high-quality bottles, conducting regular audits and quality checks.
  • Follow established quality control procedures and blow-mold processing guidelines.
  • Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on blow-mold and associated equipment.
  • Adjust machinery settings to meet specific product requirements.
  • Participate in preventive maintenance activities and assist with mechanical adjustments.
  • Process excess materials through grinding operations.
  • Document maintenance requests and track equipment repairs.
  • Compile daily production reports, noting rejects, regrinds, and overall line efficiency.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by supervisory staff.

Qualifications:

The following qualifications are essential for this role:

  • Basic mathematical and computer skills are necessary.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is preferred.
  • Completion of Altium Machine Operator I training is required within the initial 90 days of employment.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires the ability to stand, walk, and use hands frequently, with occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds. Employees may need to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as part of their duties.

Work Environment:

Employees will work in a production setting, often exposed to moving mechanical parts and elevated noise levels. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is mandatory in designated areas.
