Job Title: Geomatics Survey Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Geomatics Survey Project Manager to join our team at VHB. As a key member of our East Coast Geomatics team, you will be responsible for managing land surveying projects from start to finish.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage project budgets, scope, and schedules for small, moderate, and large land survey projects.
  • Lead and manage project staff and clients.
  • Perform surveying calculations and analyze public records research.
  • Review and certify work completed by staff with high precision and accuracy.
  • Coordinate field crews and Survey/CAD Technicians.
  • Perform field checks and manage quality control of all products.
  • Coordinate survey efforts with other groups in an integrated services environment.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of professional land surveying/geomatics experience, including managing land surveying projects.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Degree in Survey Engineering, Geomatics, Geographic Information Systems, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • NY PLS license preferred.
  • Familiarity with New York and colonial land surveying.
  • Proficient in all aspects of land surveying, including boundary line and topographic survey as well as construction stakeout.
  • Experience with electronic instruments, field data collectors, AutoCAD and Civil 3D software, GPS, and robotic instruments.
