Communications Specialist

SalaryThe estimated salary range for this role is $50.00 per hour, with potential variations based on specific circumstances.
About the RoleThis position involves conducting thorough patient assessments to identify areas requiring intervention. You will develop personalized plans of care in accordance with physicians' orders, closely monitoring progress and modifying treatments as needed to meet set goals. Effective communication with patients, family members, caregivers, and healthcare professionals is essential in achieving rehabilitation objectives and ensuring seamless transitions throughout the recovery process.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's and Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field, recognized by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA or eligibility to participate as an ASHA Clinical Fellow (CFY)
- Licensure in the state where applicable
- Current Basic Life Support/CPR certification
