Automotive Parts Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a reliable and professional parts advisor to purchase, sell, store, and issue parts within our busy dealership. As an Automotive Parts Advisor, you will be responsible for determining customer needs, accurately specifying parts, and maintaining inventory levels.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in a dealership warehouse environment and possess excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and internal staff.

Job Responsibilities:- Determine customer needs and specify parts accordingly
- Create and modify purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of parts
- Issue purchase orders to vendors to obtain parts
- Record warranty parts returned and maintain accurate inventory records
- Create special ordered parts on our dealership computer system and notify relevant parties upon receipt
- Review special order parts tracking and process invoices accordingly
- Close open invoices and verify quality and quantity of merchandise received
- Maintain records of outside purchases and parts received and issued
- Perform ongoing warehouse parts inventory and attend weekly department meetings
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a dealership warehouse environment
- Domestic brand experience preferred but not required
