Command Holdings is in search of a Senior Special Operations Trainer (Intel) IV. This role is pivotal in assisting Theater Special Operations Commands, SOF Service Components, and joint Special Operations Forces (SOF) Headquarters with the strategic planning, coordination, and execution of both functional and collective training at operational and strategic levels of warfare.
The selected candidate will play a crucial role in supporting joint SOF headquarters through various training initiatives, including individual, staff, and unit collective training, academic events, senior leader seminars, planning exercises, tabletop exercises, and functional area workshops. This support is essential for executing joint mission rehearsals, command post exercises, and other collective training events that align with the USSOCOM certification and validation program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert knowledge and strategic-level joint training primarily focused on Intelligence Operations.
- Conduct comprehensive research, analysis, and training to enhance the readiness and exercise programs of Theater Special Operations Commands, SOF Service Components, and joint SOF Task Force Commanders.
Work Environment:
- Moderate to occasional loud noise levels typical of a business office and operational environments.
- Extended periods of sitting at a computer terminal may be required.
- Ability to work in confined spaces and remote environments.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit, stand, talk, and hear while performing job responsibilities.
- Frequent use of hands and fingers for computer operation.
- Capability to drive in various environments, including urban and rural settings.
- Reasonable accommodations will be provided for individuals with disabilities.
Travel Expectations:
- Regular travel required, estimated at 21-49%.
- Potential for travel to remote overseas locations for extended durations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 10 years of SOF intelligence experience, or equivalent military experience with 13 years in intelligence.
- Active Secret security clearance, with the ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI clearance.
- At least 7 years of all-source intelligence experience at tactical and operational levels.
- Experience in joint operations and tactical-operational level planning for a minimum of 6 years.
- Proven track record of mentoring and leading intelligence seminars, with strong communication and organizational skills.
- Professional proficiency in English is mandatory.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current TS/SCI security clearance.
- Experience in preparing all-source intelligence products for SOF training and exercises.
- Recent experience in a SOF operational level HQs or Joint Task Force at senior levels.
