Product Director

Norstella is seeking a highly skilled Product Director to lead the development and commercialization of our Real-World Data (RWD) product portfolio. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for understanding the RWD market, identifying business opportunities, and developing comprehensive product strategies to drive growth and revenue.
Key Responsibilities- Market Analysis and Opportunity Identification: Conduct thorough market analysis and sizing exercises to identify RWD market opportunities, assess market potential, and inform strategic decision-making.
- Product Strategy and Roadmap Development: Utilize market insight to inform product strategy and prioritize features that deliver maximum value to customers through a comprehensive product roadmap.
- Go-to-Market (GTM) Model Development: Develop comprehensive GTM models and strategies for new product launches, considering market dynamics, competitive landscape, customer segmentation, pricing strategies, and distribution channels.
- Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work collaboratively with sales and marketing teams to identify opportunities for business alignment by client type and RWD use case to advise on pre-sales activities such as solution enablement, thought leadership, and go-to-market messaging.
- Data Analysis and Insights: Translate product management strategy into actionable data deliverables, guiding development of data models, business rules, and other advanced analytical capabilities.
- Communication and Stakeholder Management: Excel at communicating across a broad set of cross-functional stakeholders, including leadership, sales, marketing, and product teams.
- External Partnerships and Collaboration: Effectively partner with external organizations, including clients and vendors, to develop meaningful and projectable analytics about trends in market access dynamics across payers, geographies, indications, drugs, etc.
- Data Source Integration and Evaluation: Identify and evaluate additional data sources that could be integrated in value-enabling ways across multiple segments of the customer base.
- Advanced Analytics and Predictive Modeling: Leverage advanced analytics techniques to extract actionable insights from real-world data sources, enabling evidence-based decision-making and product innovation. Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to develop predictive models, segmentation strategies, and performance metrics.
- Product Lifecycle Management: Drive the end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation to launch to optimization, following agile methodologies and best practices. Define product requirements, create user stories, prioritize backlog, and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products on time and within budget.
- Experience with Large and Complex Healthcare Datasets: Experience working with large and complex healthcare datasets, including claims, EMR, lab data, and experience with studies of treatment effectiveness/outcomes, disease progression, adherence, healthcare utilization, patient journey, sales targeting, prescription/procedure volumes/shares, provider networks, and prescribing/treatment patterns.
- Agile Software Development Practices: Familiarity with agile software development practices.
- Experience with Private and Sensitive Personal Information: Experience working with private and sensitive personal information.
- Excellent Communication and Presentation Skills: Excellent written and spoken communication skills, including the ability to present technical concepts to lay audiences, write analysis plans for projects, contribute to proposals/grant applications, pitch ideas effectively and persuasively to clients/internal stakeholders, etc.
- Ability to Work Collaboratively and Independently: Demonstrated ability to work both collaboratively to solve complex problems and individually to research/advance areas of interest and exploration.
- Proven Ability to Develop Meaningful Analytic Insights: Proven ability to develop meaningful/valuable analytic insights from multiple data sources and support value through commercialization.
- Ability to Travel: Ability to travel (up to 30% on high end).
- Experience Supporting or Launching Data and Analytics or SaaS-Based Enterprise Product: Experience supporting or launching Data and Analytics or SaaS-based enterprise product.
- Experience Using Snowflake: Experience using Snowflake.
