About the Role

Norstella is seeking a highly skilled Product Director to lead the development and commercialization of our Real-World Data (RWD) product portfolio. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for understanding the RWD market, identifying business opportunities, and developing comprehensive product strategies to drive growth and revenue.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Market Analysis and Opportunity Identification: Conduct thorough market analysis and sizing exercises to identify RWD market opportunities, assess market potential, and inform strategic decision-making.
  2. Product Strategy and Roadmap Development: Utilize market insight to inform product strategy and prioritize features that deliver maximum value to customers through a comprehensive product roadmap.
  3. Go-to-Market (GTM) Model Development: Develop comprehensive GTM models and strategies for new product launches, considering market dynamics, competitive landscape, customer segmentation, pricing strategies, and distribution channels.
  4. Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work collaboratively with sales and marketing teams to identify opportunities for business alignment by client type and RWD use case to advise on pre-sales activities such as solution enablement, thought leadership, and go-to-market messaging.
  5. Data Analysis and Insights: Translate product management strategy into actionable data deliverables, guiding development of data models, business rules, and other advanced analytical capabilities.
  6. Communication and Stakeholder Management: Excel at communicating across a broad set of cross-functional stakeholders, including leadership, sales, marketing, and product teams.
  7. External Partnerships and Collaboration: Effectively partner with external organizations, including clients and vendors, to develop meaningful and projectable analytics about trends in market access dynamics across payers, geographies, indications, drugs, etc.
  8. Data Source Integration and Evaluation: Identify and evaluate additional data sources that could be integrated in value-enabling ways across multiple segments of the customer base.
  9. Advanced Analytics and Predictive Modeling: Leverage advanced analytics techniques to extract actionable insights from real-world data sources, enabling evidence-based decision-making and product innovation. Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to develop predictive models, segmentation strategies, and performance metrics.
  10. Product Lifecycle Management: Drive the end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation to launch to optimization, following agile methodologies and best practices. Define product requirements, create user stories, prioritize backlog, and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products on time and within budget.
Requirements
  1. Experience with Large and Complex Healthcare Datasets: Experience working with large and complex healthcare datasets, including claims, EMR, lab data, and experience with studies of treatment effectiveness/outcomes, disease progression, adherence, healthcare utilization, patient journey, sales targeting, prescription/procedure volumes/shares, provider networks, and prescribing/treatment patterns.
  2. Agile Software Development Practices: Familiarity with agile software development practices.
  3. Experience with Private and Sensitive Personal Information: Experience working with private and sensitive personal information.
  4. Excellent Communication and Presentation Skills: Excellent written and spoken communication skills, including the ability to present technical concepts to lay audiences, write analysis plans for projects, contribute to proposals/grant applications, pitch ideas effectively and persuasively to clients/internal stakeholders, etc.
  5. Ability to Work Collaboratively and Independently: Demonstrated ability to work both collaboratively to solve complex problems and individually to research/advance areas of interest and exploration.
  6. Proven Ability to Develop Meaningful Analytic Insights: Proven ability to develop meaningful/valuable analytic insights from multiple data sources and support value through commercialization.
  7. Ability to Travel: Ability to travel (up to 30% on high end).
