Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct hazardous and regular Child Labor investigations to enforce Child Labor compliance.
  • Investigate, research and verify wage and employment information to determine unemployment benefit monetary eligibility and employer liability.
  • Contact employing units or potential employing units to gather information to determine liability in accordance with Georgia Employment Security Law.
  • Educate employers on tax reporting requirements, worker classification laws/rules, tax and wage reporting options, and unemployment security law compliance regulations.
Requirements
  • Completion of an undergraduate degree from an accredited four-year college.
  • Major in Business Administration, Accounting, Law or related field.
  • Experience encompassing regulatory responsibility including interpretation and enforcement of regulatory statues.
  • Experience with Collections.
  • Knowledge of UI Tax Liability.
  • Microsoft Word and Excel.
