Job Overview

As an Accounting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in guiding our team of Staff Accountants, nurturing client relationships, and addressing complex business service requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation and analysis of financial statements to assess performance
  • Creation and posting of journal entries while reconciling general ledger accounts for clients, adhering to accrual accounting principles
  • Support client management in the development of budgets and forecasts
  • Collaborate with external CPA firms, serving as a key liaison between business owners and their accountants
  • Manage client invoicing and assist in collection efforts
  • Oversee the transition of accounting functions to QuickBooks or suitable software
  • Assist clients with banking tasks, including bank deposits, wire transfers, and ACH transactions
  • Supervise DMS or client personnel as necessary
  • Perform additional duties as required
Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree is required; Bachelor's degree is preferred
  • A minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience is essential
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite is mandatory
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment while consistently meeting deadlines
  • Strong independent working capabilities
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and supervisory skills
  • Experience in payroll processing or familiarity with payroll reports is advantageous
