About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Imaging Technical Specialist to join our team at Inova. As a key member of our imaging department, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Responsibilities
  • Utilize advanced imaging principles and techniques to optimize examination results and ensure patient safety.
  • Communicate effectively with patients to obtain clinical history and informed consent, and assist physicians in optimizing examination performance and interpretation.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment, ensuring rooms are stocked with necessary supplies and equipment is properly maintained.
  • Perform routine quality control testing and document results to ensure consistent image quality.
  • Assist in the development, review, and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure compliance and excellence in patient care.
Requirements
  • Certification in Basic Life Support and ARRT registration as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • Advanced certification in applicable modality within one year of training.
  • Ability to perform in two or more modalities with at least equal time spent rotating in each annually.
  • Licensure as required by the state of employment.
  • One year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist and graduate of an accredited school or program of radiography.
