Position Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated Clinical Assistant to contribute to our Unified Care team. This role encompasses both technical and clinical responsibilities aimed at developing a comprehensive chronic disease management program. You will work collaboratively with other clinical professionals, utilizing iHealth devices and the Unified Care platform to assist patients with chronic conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize technology effectively, including internal messaging systems and medical devices, to assist patients, particularly the elderly, in understanding and troubleshooting technology.
  • Communicate clearly with both tech-savvy and non-tech-savvy individuals, ensuring that all technology-related concepts are conveyed with patience.
  • Assist with direct patient care tasks, including checking in patients, gathering medical histories, taking vital signs, and preparing medical documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records in electronic health systems.
  • Conduct routine specialized procedures, including setting up iHealth products for patients according to established protocols.
  • Coordinate the acquisition of necessary lab tests and other assessments as directed by healthcare providers.
  • Manage inventory and medical supplies within the clinic.
  • Provide education and guidance to patients on specific health issues, including prescription information.
  • Facilitate patient flow in accordance with appointment schedules.
  • Ensure examination rooms are well-maintained and organized.
  • Support administrative functions to enhance clinic operations.
  • Adhere to safety and infection control protocols.
  • Conduct patient outreach calls to schedule appointments and provide follow-up care information.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or higher is required.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated patience and empathy, especially when interacting with elderly patients.
  • Familiarity with basic medical procedures and terminology is advantageous.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and adaptability.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Bilingual skills are a plus, particularly in Mandarin, Spanish, Cantonese, Tagalog, or Vietnamese.
  • Proficiency in using computer applications and technical platforms such as Google Workspace and Zoom.
