Job Summary:

This Certified Medical Assistant role is a key member of our clinical team, providing high-quality patient care and administrative support in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist physicians, nurse practitioners, and nurses in providing clinic services, including vital signs, phlebotomy, EKGs, point-of-care testing, immunizations, and documentation of results.
  • Perform and document blood pressure, height, and weight measurements.
  • Conduct phlebotomy, EKGs, and other screening tests as directed by a physician or nurse, including immunizations.
  • Assist with clerical duties, such as data entry, document processing, and filing.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, working effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure a positive experience.
  • Monitor and maintain medical supplies, office supplies, and departmental inventory.
  • Develop and deliver special projects, demonstrating initiative and a commitment to excellence.
Requirements:
  • MA-AAMA, MA-AMT, MA-NCCT, or MA-NHA certification required.
  • Hearing Conservation and Spirometry certifications preferred.
  • Valid New Jersey driver's license required.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; 2-3 years of experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
