Therapy Specialist for Speech Development

We are seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Soliant. This is a full-time contract position, working 5 days a week with the possibility of extension.

About the Role:
  • This assignment will involve assessing and diagnosing speech and language disorders in students, developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with communication needs, and providing direct therapy services to students both one-on-one and in small groups.
  • You will also be responsible for monitoring and documenting student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary, collaborating with teachers and school staff to integrate speech and language goals into classroom activities, and educating and supporting parents and guardians on strategies to support their child's communication development.

Requirements & Qualifications:
  • A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Active Rhode Island SLP licensure.
  • Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred.
  • Previous school-based experience is highly preferred but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
