Procurement Clerk Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Procurement Clerk to join our team at Ultimate Staffing. As a Procurement Clerk, you will be responsible for assisting the Procurement Contracts staff and Procurement Manager with RFPs and IFBs, reviewing files and contracts, and e-documenting and backlogging purchase orders within a 3-year span.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Procurement Contracts staff and Procurement Manager with RFPs and IFBs
  • Review and manage files and contracts
  • E-document and backlog purchase orders within a 3-year span
  • Assist Procurement and Business Unit staff with contract and purchase order closeouts

Requirements:

  • Ability to work in Excel spreadsheets and Microsoft Office comfortably
  • Very organized with attention to detail and good time management
  • Basic knowledge of procurement, preferably in the public sector
