We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Service Director to lead our Service Department at Pohanka Hyundai Capitol Heights. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of service professionals to ensure a customer experience that meets or exceeds manufacturer and company expectations.
- Monitor progress of all current and pending projects and create goals for the Service Department.
- Develop and implement processes to achieve these goals and improve efficiency and satisfaction.
- Oversee the hiring, training, and goal-setting of an effective service team.
- Maintain accurate records of all accounts and relevant financial information.
- Communicate and maintain exceptional relations with manufacturing reps and dealers.
- Ensure all service staff comply with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
- Minimum 4 years of automotive service experience.
- Proficiency with dealer management systems (preferably CDK but not mandatory).
- Desire to coach and train team to exceed their goals.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to be analytical, problem-solve, and multitask.
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic presence in a team environment.
- Excellent customer service, time management, and communication skills.
- Consistent and stable work history.
- Organized, efficient, and results-driven.
- Full-time with weekend availability.
- Willingness to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
