Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team at the Medical College of Wisconsin. As a Speech Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional direct evaluation and intervention to patients with cognitive-communication disorders, speech, voice, and swallowing difficulties. You will work closely with an interdisciplinary clinical care team, interacting with physicians, allied health professionals, and behavioral health providers to provide comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide patient-centered cognitive-communication assessment and intervention, with a focus on speech, voice, and swallowing as clinically indicated.
• Document care and provide educational materials on treatment processes to patients and family members.
• Collaborate with colleagues to promote improved quality of care across the BRAVE Program, emphasizing understanding and integration of strategies to support foundational components of TBI-related persistent symptom improvement.
• Participate in small groups for program development, quality improvement, and continuing education projects as needed.
