The selected Manufacturing Engineering Intern will collaborate closely with our operations personnel to assess, analyze, and enhance current systems and processes within our warehouses. Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate operational data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for enhancement.
- Work in tandem with cross-functional teams, including Supply Chain, Methods, and Operations, to facilitate effective process improvements.
- Engage with warehouse personnel to comprehend operational challenges and propose innovative solutions.
- Assist in the deployment of new technologies and systems to improve warehouse efficiency.
- Create and maintain process documentation to support future standardization efforts.
- Support the Warehouse Transformation Team in implementing Schneider Production Standards aimed at waste reduction, quality enhancement, continuous improvement, and safety.
- Contribute to the integration of Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) within the warehouse/production setting.
- Help establish new warehouse picking/supermarket areas and develop material routing strategies.
- Participate in Smart Factory initiatives, including the preparation and implementation of smart tools like E-Kanban and E-Performance.
- Develop standardized work instructions for operational consistency.
- Pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and conflict resolution skills.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach and a sense of urgency.
- Strong work ethic, demonstrating responsibility and commitment.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Outstanding communication and teamwork skills (English proficiency required).
- Proven track record of achieving results.
