Electrical Engineer Intern/Co-op

CMTA Inc is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer Intern/Co-op to join our team. As an Electrical Engineer Intern/Co-op, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of electrical design projects, including new constructions and renovation design projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Learn and implement electrical system basics, including power, power distribution, lighting & controls, and fire alarm systems.
- Produce detailed layout and equipment details of electrical systems of buildings.
- Assist the design team in the process of assembling organized sets of drawings.
- May assist in the data collection and/or field verification.
- Work in conjunction with designers and engineers to help develop all aspects of a project.
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
- Strong interest in Building Systems Electrical Engineering.
- CAD experience, preferably AutoCAD.
- Revit experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to work both independently and with a team.
- Ability to travel locally for field work.
