Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with SQF, HACCP, GMP's, SSOP, process deviation, hold and release.
  • Provide oversight, inspection, and verification of sanitation procedures.
  • Review and ensure inline process management of food safety and quality checks.
  • Provide support to operations/manufacturing in areas such as training, special testing, problem resolution, etc.
  • Ensure ingredients and finished product specification compliance.
  • Assist with opportunities by analyzing data, investigating issues, identifying solutions, and recommending action.
  • Perform basic lab analysis (pH, moistures) on finished product.
  • Prepare composite samples of finished product for outside lab testing.
  • Perform lab analysis on raw materials.
  • Assist with food production and environmental sanitation requirements, environmental monitoring, weekly manufacturing floor audits.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in food quality.
  • Experience with GMP, HACCP, SQF, and other food safety regulations.
