- Ensure compliance with SQF, HACCP, GMP's, SSOP, process deviation, hold and release.
- Provide oversight, inspection, and verification of sanitation procedures.
- Review and ensure inline process management of food safety and quality checks.
- Provide support to operations/manufacturing in areas such as training, special testing, problem resolution, etc.
- Ensure ingredients and finished product specification compliance.
- Assist with opportunities by analyzing data, investigating issues, identifying solutions, and recommending action.
- Perform basic lab analysis (pH, moistures) on finished product.
- Prepare composite samples of finished product for outside lab testing.
- Perform lab analysis on raw materials.
- Assist with food production and environmental sanitation requirements, environmental monitoring, weekly manufacturing floor audits.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in food quality.
- Experience with GMP, HACCP, SQF, and other food safety regulations.
