Culinary Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team at Spectrum Health Companies. As a key member of our Dining Services team, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals to our residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook meals for residents and staff, adhering to strict food safety guidelines
• Ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to OSHA regulations
• Perform a variety of tasks, including meal preparation, serving, and clean-up, within the time constraints and interruptions
• Demonstrate independent action and judgment in a fast-paced kitchen environment

Requirements:

• Follow infection control procedures, including proper hand washing techniques
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external contacts
• Pass a criminal background study and be able to perform the physical demands of the position
