We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Engineering Intern to join our team at American Tower. As a Civil or Structural Engineering Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on real-world projects and gain hands-on experience in the field.
Key Responsibilities- Perform structural analyses and generate corresponding reports.
- Confirm accuracy of modification drawings.
- Answer various structure-related inquiries from internal and external sources.
- Perform civil site analyses and generate road, grading, and stormwater designs.
- Support the generation of construction drawings showing antenna equipment placement.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Current enrollment in a 4-5 year college Engineering degree program required, with a civil and/or structural engineering focus preferred.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred.
- Proficient with computer software programs, including AutoCAD and Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Ability to work independently.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively.
- Ability to work with different functional groups and levels of employees to effectively and professionally achieve results.
- Strong organizational skills; ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast-paced environment.
