Guest Services Representative

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Guest Services Agent to join our team at Hoedown Hill. As a key member of our guest services team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest experiences, ensuring seamless operations, and maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for all visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver outstanding guest service by responding promptly to guest inquiries, resolving issues, and providing accurate information about Hoedown Hill's facilities and activities.
- Ensure compliance with all Hoedown Hill Standard Operating Procedures and safety protocols to maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and team members.
- Work effectively as part of a team to achieve departmental goals and objectives, collaborating with other departments as needed to ensure seamless operations.
- Anticipate and respond to guest needs, providing personalized assistance and support to ensure a memorable and enjoyable experience.
- Assist with special events, large groups, and other activities as required, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Perform daily opening and closing procedures for guest service facilities, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Develop and maintain knowledge of Hoedown Hill's facilities, activities, and services to provide accurate information to guests.
- Check-in reservations, complete walk-up ticket transactions, and process guest payments accurately and efficiently.
- Resolve guest complaints and escalate issues to the correct person as needed, demonstrating effective problem-solving and communication skills.
- Learn and utilize online ticketing systems, Country store POS systems, and iPads/iPod scanners to enhance guest experiences and streamline operations.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to successfully multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on providing personalized and memorable guest experiences.
- Problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve issues effectively.
- Attention to detail, with a focus on maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Basic computer, iPod, and iPad skills, with the ability to learn and adapt to new technology.
- Merchandise/retail sales experience, including proven ability to use a point-of-sale system.
- Able to work in a standing position for routine periods, with the ability to lift weights of 25+ pounds and perform strenuous physical activity as needed.
Work Environment:
- The primary physical environment in which this position works is outdoors, with a high exposure level to cold, snow, wind, and rain.
- The degree of strenuous activity within the job is high, with frequent lifting of weights of 25+ pounds and other physical demands.
Expected Pay Range: $15-$17 per hour
Shift Type: Part-Time, Weekends and Holidays
