Senior Project Manager

PBK Architects is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee the design and completion of architectural projects. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on-time, on-budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Your Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and manage project teams to produce high-quality sets of documents that meet deliverable requirements for all phases of the project.
- Ensure that the project conforms to contractual agreements with clients, meeting all set budgets, goals, and work assignments for the project team.
- Communicate effectively with office support staff, consultants, and vendors to ensure the smooth execution of projects.
- Organize and direct architectural and/or engineering teams to execute work in an orderly, timely, and coordinated manner.
- Make informed decisions, exhibit sound judgment, and support and explain reasoning for decisions.
- Direct, organize, and mentor junior staff with responsibility oversight of their assignments.
- Maintain positive client relationships throughout the project, keeping clients informed of progress on a regular basis.
- Provide leadership, resources, and technical advice for the generation of construction documents, ensuring adherence to design intent and carry-through.
- Support Client Executive and/or Principal Architect in supervision and delegation of work.
- Perform Construction Administration duties.
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or related field.
- Architecture License required.
- 7+ years of professional experience preferred.
- Ideal experience in the K-12 sector.
- Ability to communicate effectively with office support staff, consultants, and vendors.
- Willingness to make informed decisions and exhibit sound judgment.
- Proficiency in using BIM programs, such as AutoCAD/Revit.
- Working knowledge of graphic programs, such as SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suites.
- Strong customer service, organizational, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of building codes.
