**Job Summary**

IDR Healthcare is seeking a skilled Nurse Staffing Coordinator to join our team on a 3-month contract basis. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for allocating staffing resources and ensuring patient care units are adequately staffed.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • **Staffing Allocation**: Receive and process staffing requests, allocating resources to patient care units on a shift-by-shift basis.
  • **Resource Management**: Analyze staffing patterns and make informed decisions about hiring or granting excused absences to ensure optimal resource utilization.
  • **Communication**: Effectively communicate with staff to grant excused absences, communicate placements, and determine availability to work.

**Requirements:**

  • **Education**: High school graduate or equivalent required.
  • **Experience**: 6-12 months of experience in a coordinating position, preferably in the healthcare field, or equivalent experience in an HR role.
  • **Preferred Qualifications**: Experience working in an inpatient care unit in a patient care or support role, as well as proficiency in computer data entry, customer service, and excellent communication skills.
