Transplant Nurse Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Transplant Nurse Coordinator to join our team at Mayo Clinic. As a key member of our transplant team, you will be responsible for coordinating the care of transplant patients, working closely with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care.
Responsibilities- Assess and plan patient care in collaboration with the patient, caregiver, and healthcare team.
- Provide patient and family education on transplant procedures and post-transplant care.
- Coordinate with healthcare teams to ensure timely and effective patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Graduate of a baccalaureate nursing program accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
- Minimum 1 year of clinical RN experience, with 3 years preferred.
- Current RN license by applicable state requirements.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required.
- Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to unpredictable situations.
- Strong communication, critical thinking, problem-solving, and computer skills.
