Join Our Growing Team in PortlandWe are seeking a skilled Construction Project Engineer to join our expanding New Construction division in Portland. As a key member of our established and diverse team, you will have the opportunity to make an immediate impact and contribute to the development of sustainable projects.
Responsibilities- Support the Request for Proposal (RFP) and procurement process, including tracking current and future jobs, reviewing contracts, drawings, and specifications.
- Assist with scheduling, assisting in the development of the scope of work with subcontractors, and preparing monthly financial reports.
- Communicate effectively with general contractors, architects, engineers, and owners, demonstrating technical soundness and ownership.
- Create and respond to requests for information (RFI), develop, process, and track equipment, materials, and informational submittals, and process change orders.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of construction concepts and ability to read and interpret construction plans, specs, contracts, proposals, estimates.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Suite and working knowledge of Salesforce, ViewPoint, and Accubid preferred.
The estimated salary range for this position is $24.36 - $39.46 per hour, based on market location. This is a non-exempt role paid hourly, with a potential bonus as part of the compensation package. In addition to competitive pay, benefits include:
