Mckinstry seeks a Construction Project Engineer with a focus on Quality Control in Denver, CO.
This role assists with project management, including documentation, procurement, and coordination with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal parties.
Job Responsibilities:- Obtain detailed knowledge of contracts, drawings, and specifications
- Coordinate Mckinstry scope of work with project drawings and specifications
- Execute QC program, including QC meetings, inspections, and document management
- Update and manage project files
- Communicate with Architect, Engineer, and Owner to assist the Project Manager
- Assist with Job Start and Project Closeout project binders and meeting materials
- Coordinate field activities of self-performed and subcontracted work
- Communicate with Subcontractors, Architect, Engineers, and Owner
- Respond to questions raised by Superintendents and review contracts, drawings, specifications, and other resources
- Create and respond to Requests for Information (RFI) and submittals
- Ensure safety compliance of subcontractors and on-site personnel
Requirements:
- Knowledge of construction concepts
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans, specs, contracts, and other regularly encountered items
- BA/BS degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architecture, Facilities Management, or comparable degree, or equivalent work experience
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project
- Customer service and office administration experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to meet deadlines
- Self-motivated and proactive
Compensation and Benefits:
The estimated salary for this position is $28.32 - $41.65 per hour, with additional compensation and benefits as part of the package.
