Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Therapy Program Manager to lead our clinical therapy, social work, and interdisciplinary evaluation programs. The successful candidate will oversee the operation of these programs, provide direct patient evaluation and counseling services, and ensure adherence to hospital and departmental policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management: Provide professional leadership in the provision of clinical therapeutic services, oversee the work of clinical professionals and support staff, and coordinate program operations.
  • Treatment and Patient Care: Develop, implement, and modify treatment protocols and clinical procedures, provide direct patient consultation and care, and develop rehabilitative therapy programs.
  • Operations and Administration: Oversee all facets of daily operations, ensure compliance with laws, policies, and regulations, and develop systems to maintain records and manage grants.
  • Research and Development: Perform and oversee academic/clinical research, ensure data integrity, and prepare grant proposals.
  • Community Relations and Collaboration: Represent the organization at community meetings, promote programs and policies, and work collaboratively with agencies and constituencies.
  • Professional Development: Enhance professional growth and development through education, reading, and attending meetings and workshops.
  • Budget and Financial Management: Develop and administer the division's annual budget, monitor and approve expenditures.
  • Patient Safety: Follow patient safety-related policies, procedures, and protocols, and demonstrate a proactive approach to patient safety.
Qualifications
  • Education: Master's Degree in a related field.
  • Experience: 5 years of directly related experience.
  • Credentials: LPCC/CMHC or LCSW or LMFT in New Mexico.
Working Conditions

The Clinical Therapy Program Manager will work in a sedentary office environment with minimal hazard and physical risk. The position may be credentialed by the UNMH Credentialing Committee and is subject to an annual contract and performance appraisal.
