Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team at Indigo Therapy Services, Inc. As a key member of our outpatient pediatric clinic, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to children with physical, developmental, and sensory processing disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist licensed occupational therapists in implementing treatment plans to help patients achieve their goals
  • Provide direct patient care, support, and education to individuals and families
  • Conduct therapeutic activities to improve motor skills, coordination, daily living skills, and sensory processing and regulation
  • Monitor and document patient progress, reporting any changes or concerns to the occupational therapist
  • Familiarize yourself with outpatient pediatric occupational therapy practices and techniques
  • Understand outpatient occupational therapy business practices
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have an Associate Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant and a current NM COTA license. You should be passionate about working with children and families, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
