Nature of Work

The City of Northglenn is looking for a dynamic and friendly individual to join our Patron Services/Box Office Team. This full-time position is dedicated to delivering outstanding service to our patrons at Northglenn Arts and the Parsons Theatre.

The selected candidate will be responsible for assisting patrons with ticket sales, class registrations, and event rentals, both in person and over the phone. This role is supervised by the Patron Experience Coordinator and plays a crucial part in enhancing the overall patron experience.

Duties and Responsibilities

Customer Service Excellence:
  • Provide prompt and professional responses to inquiries through face-to-face, phone, and email interactions.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with patrons, community members, and partner organizations.
Front-of-House Operations:
  • Welcome patrons and guide them as needed.
  • Assist with reservation requests, ticketing, and registrations for various programs and events.
  • Support house management for events and performances.
  • Sell concessions during events.
  • Help with event setup and breakdown.
Financial and Inventory Management:
  • Handle financial transactions and ensure accurate cash drawer reconciliation.
  • Engage with patrons to facilitate ticket sales and inquiries.
  • Assist with ticket inventory management.
  • Support inventory reconciliation for concessions.
Administrative Support:
  • Assist with hospitality arrangements for artists.
  • Provide daily reporting and assistance to incoming artists.
  • Help coordinate volunteers, including recruitment and training.
Education and Experience

We encourage candidates from diverse backgrounds to apply. A passion for community engagement is essential.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One or more years of customer service or hospitality experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Willingness to obtain necessary certifications within three months of hire.
Supplemental Information

The selected candidate will undergo a background investigation and drug screening. Flexibility in scheduling is required, with varying hours during the week and weekends, including daytime and evening shifts. The role may involve physical activities such as standing, walking, and lifting up to 40 pounds.
