Nuclear Power Plant Simulator Developer

EGS is seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Power Plant Simulator Developer to join our multidisciplinary team of designers and engineers.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instrumentation and control of integrated systems, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the nuclear industry.
Responsibilities will include:
- Developing and improving power plant simulator models
- Maintaining configuration control of the power plant simulator models
- Supporting simulation-assisted design scope through model and control logic variations
- Supporting development of system and integrated plant control logic, including control algorithm development for thermal-hydraulic process systems
- Interfacing the power plant simulator with the plant control platform provider
- Supporting development of human-system interface concepts with the plant digital control system supplier and other project stakeholders
Requirements include a B.S. in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program, at least 5 years of demonstrated, applicable experience in fossil or nuclear fields, and experience with instrumentation and control of integrated systems.
Preferred qualifications include experience using the Western Services Corporation 3KeyMaster simulation tool suite, advanced degrees in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, nuclear engineering, or closely related fields, and prior experience with DCSs, PLCs, HMIs and their requirements in a nuclear setting.
