We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our Framing Team at Michaels. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, building relationships with customers, and creating memorable framing solutions for their art.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Deliver friendly and personalized customer service, helping customers find what they're looking for and providing a well-merchandised and in-stock store experience.
  • Framing Solutions: Create custom framing solutions for customers, using Elevated ABC Deliver to build relationships and deliver sales and production results.
  • Order Fulfillment: Complete framing orders with a high degree of quality and on time, ensuring customer satisfaction and meeting sales targets.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain the ready-made frame department and other assigned areas, including SISO and Directed Replenishment, to ensure a clean and organized store environment.
  • Omni Channel Support: Participate in the truck un-load and stocking processes, operate cash registers, and execute cash handling to standards.
Requirements
  • Basic Computer Skills: Proficiency in basic computer skills and basic measuring skills.
  • Operational Skills: Ability to operate the framing equipment and glass cutter.
  • Physical Demands: Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching; ability to move throughout the store and remain standing for long periods.
Work Environment

Our public retail store setting provides a climate-controlled environment, with some stock rooms and outdoor areas that may not be climate-controlled. The Frame shop contains glass cutters and heat presses, and work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings.
