Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and physically capable individual to join our team as a Delivery Driver/Mover. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for safely transporting and delivering household items to clients, while providing excellent customer service and maintaining a positive attitude.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport and deliver household items to clients, ensuring safe and efficient delivery
  • Load and unload items from vehicles, using proper lifting and moving techniques
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to client needs and concerns in a professional and respectful manner
  • Work independently and as part of a team, maintaining a positive and collaborative attitude
  • Comply with agency policies, procedures, and regulations, as well as federal and state requirements
Requirements
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects safely and efficiently
  • Ability to follow directions, organize tasks, and maintain a positive attitude
  • Ability to drive a 22-foot truck, preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to read and speak clearly, with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to interact with donors, clients, and staff in a professional and courteous manner
  • Valid Ohio Driver's License and ability to meet agency requirements for driving insurability
  • Ability to pass a background check, as required by the agency
Work Environment

The work environment involves some physical risks, requiring the use of basic safety precautions. The ability to move, walk, and stand for extended periods is necessary, as well as the ability to climb stairs, bend, and stretch above shoulder level.
