- Case Information Dissemination: Disseminate case information to neighboring jurisdictions and relevant stakeholders.
- Social Media Monitoring: Use social media to identify criminal offenders, develop investigative leads, and monitor activities of known criminal offenders.
- Community Analysis: Analyze criminal/collision activities in the community to identify specific crime/traffic patterns and develop effective means and information/evidence to prevent or solve criminal activity or reduce traffic collisions.
- Statistical Reporting: Generate statistics, classifying and categorizing criminal activity with regard to frequency of occurrence, location, type of crime, demographics, and other pertinent criteria.
- Research and Reporting: Conduct research, collect, and analyze data to prepare reports and documents, and update and create spreadsheets for departments.
- File Management: Prepare various files, records, and documents, and perform related work as assigned.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Experience: One (1) year of experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
The physical demands of this position refer to the requirements for physical exertion and coordination of limb and body movement. This position involves sedentary work that involves walking or standing some of the time and involves exerting up to 10 pounds of force on a regular and recurring basis or sustained keyboard operations.
