Tetra Tech is seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our Disaster Recovery Unit. As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in calculating the cost of damages incurred by our clients during recent disasters.

This is a non-traveling role, but may develop into a traveling position following mastery of the material. You will have the opportunity to give back to your local community by making an impact daily to help restore the devastated areas affected by the recent storm.

Responsibilities:

  • Analysis of project data using software such as Microsoft Excel and PowerBI
  • Quality assurance and quality control of project data
  • Generating daily reports in regard to project metrics, work completion, and cost
  • Review and understanding of project contracts for the purposes of contractor billings data reconciliation
  • Digital file organization of project documents
  • Completion of client data inquiries as requested by project management
  • Reading comprehension and application of federal policies to project data

High technical proficiency in Microsoft Excel required. Bachelor's degree preferred. Ability to work 7 days a week, 12 hours a day. Must be available for short-term travel to support on-site client needs and extended deployment (i.e. 90+ days) to address client response and long-term recovery needs to following emergencies and major disasters (if candidate not local to effected area). Prior accounting or finance experience preferred. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Ability to understand and apply FEMA program policies and guidance. Intuition and forward-thinking is a plus while working to accomplish goals. Must be motivated and results-oriented. Professional self-presentation and communication. Extraordinary attention to minute detail.
