The Center for Population Health Data Science (CPHDS) is at the forefront of modernizing data practices to improve public health outcomes. This role presents an exciting opportunity to collaborate with CPHDS leadership in developing a cutting-edge center focused on public health data science and informatics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management and Operational Support:
    1. Oversee daily operations of the executive office, including managing schedules, coordinating meetings, and ensuring effective workflows.
    2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet milestones and timelines for priority initiatives.
    3. Monitor and report on progress related to CPHDS goals and performance measures.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:
    1. Assist in preparing for stakeholder meetings by developing presentations and communication materials.
    2. Facilitate communication with senior leaders to ensure transparency and timely updates.
    3. Engage with stakeholders to gather insights and build relationships that advance CPHDS objectives.
  • Risk Management and Compliance:
    1. Ensure adherence to organizational and regulatory requirements.
    2. Identify potential risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
    3. Communicate issues effectively and escalate concerns as necessary.
  • Strategic Support for Data Equity Initiatives:
    1. Organize strategic planning processes while handling sensitive information with discretion.
    2. Analyze factors influencing CPHDS' strategic direction and identify opportunities for advancement.
    3. Stay informed about data technology trends and equity frameworks relevant to public health.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in public health, health information technology, or a related field.
  • Understanding of data utilization in healthcare and public health policy implications.
  • Experience in managing complex projects and coordinating diverse teams.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with strong problem-solving abilities.
