Kilgore College is a dynamic two-year public community college with campuses in Kilgore and Longview, Texas.
We are seeking a qualified Academic Professional to teach in our Criminal Justice AAS degree program. As an adjunct instructor, you will be responsible for providing instruction and training to students.
Salary InformationThe salary for this position ranges from $1,700 per 3-hour course for an Associate's or Bachelor's degree to $2,000 per 3-hour course for a doctorate.
In addition to the competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits including Worker's compensation and Limited Part-Time Retirement Plan.
About the JobThis is a part-time position teaching online via KC's Blackboard LMS as well as in person at the Kilgore or Longview locations of Kilgore College.
You will be required to teach courses in the Criminal Justice AAS degree program, which includes providing instruction and training to students.
Requirements and QualificationsTo be eligible for this position, you must have a minimum of an associate's degree, preferably in Criminal Justice, plus a minimum of 5 years experience in the field.
Applicants with a baccalaureate or graduate degree in CJ do not need to have the five years' experience.
You must also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a demonstrated commitment to the community college philosophy of education.
