College Librarian Leader

This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at Kilgore College as a Director - Library. As a leader in the library profession, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to enhance the library's collections, resources, and facilities. You will also lead the library team in providing exceptional support services to students, faculty, and staff.

Our campus is located in Kilgore, Texas, and we serve approximately 6,000 students each year. • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance the library's collections, resources, and facilities.
• Leadership: Lead the library team in delivering high-quality services and programs that promote academic success and student engagement.
• Collections and Resources: Develop and maintain the library's collections, resources, and facilities to meet the needs of students, faculty, and staff.

• Salary: $65,657 per annum (12-month contract)

• Education: Master's degree in library science or a closely related field such as Information Science.
• Experience: At least three years of experience in library positions, preferably in higher education.
• Skills: Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, and proven supervisory experience in managing professional and clerical staff.
