Position Title:
Housekeeping Professional Overview:

The Housekeeping Professional is tasked with the thorough cleaning and maintenance of resident living spaces and other designated areas within the facility. This role is crucial in ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consistent attendance and punctuality.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Perform cleaning and dusting of multiple surfaces such as countertops, furniture, and appliances.
  • Scrub and sanitize bathrooms to maintain hygiene standards.
  • Efficiently gather and dispose of waste using designated bags and containers.
  • Maintain well-stocked, clean, and organized storage areas and carts.
  • Vacuum carpets in resident apartments and common areas like lobbies and hallways.
  • Change bed and bath linens according to the established cleaning schedule.
  • Assist in the laundry room and other areas as needed.
  • Deliver residents' personal laundry as assigned.
  • Greet residents and announce your presence before entering their rooms.
  • Maintain a professional appearance at all times.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Participate in departmental training and educational sessions.
  • Ensure confidentiality of resident and facility information.
  • Respond to fire alarms and assist in resident evacuation when necessary.
  • Collaborate with staff from other departments as required.
  • Exhibit professionalism in all interactions with residents, guests, and staff.
  • Report housekeeping and maintenance issues for resolution.
  • Perform additional duties as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred; candidates may be working towards this qualification.
  • Two years of experience in cleaning or housekeeping preferred.
