Key Responsibilities
  • Process Development: Develop and implement process improvements to enhance product performance, robustness, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Technology Management: Manage daily technology development activities, ensuring quality, on-time delivery, inventory management, and productivity.
  • Process Controls: Establish and maintain consistent process controls, collaborating with cross-functional teams for technology transfer to manufacturing.
  • Problem-Solving: Identify, analyze, and resolve process-related issues, developing and implementing countermeasures.
  • Non-Conforming Material Disposition: Manage the disposition of non-conforming materials, generating and submitting Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) for manufacturing-related changes.
  • Technology Development Support: Provide backup support for other R&D associates in the development of new technologies.
  • Shift Schedule and Pay Rate: Monday - Friday, 40 hours/week, with a pay rate of $20 - $25/hour.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
  • Background: Background in Chemistry or a related field.
  • Lab Experience: Experience with laboratory techniques, including dissolution, titrations, chemical handling/mixing, chromatography, spectroscopy, viscosity, and pH.
  • Manufacturing or R&D Experience: Experience in manufacturing or R&D, with a plus for those with a background in both.
  • Contract to Start: Contract to start, with potential for conversion or extension based on performance.
