Job Summary

The Process Control Engineer is responsible for providing process control leadership in support of the reliable operation and continuous improvement of the production lines at the Pensacola Specialty Elastomers Plant. This role is responsible for providing reliable DCS operation in the areas of hardware and software support, including upgrades, backups, performance tracking, administration, and security.

Key Responsibilities
  • Main point of contact for day-to-day controls optimization and improvement
  • Provide support and assistance for plant DCS systems as needed to support operations
  • Develop, coordinate, and execute process control-related projects and MOC's for continuous improvement, including design and programming
  • Troubleshoot and repair hardware, software, and process control issues
  • Support engineers, operations and maintenance technicians in troubleshooting production line issues
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science Engineering Degree (Electrical, Electronic or Chemical desired) from an accredited university, OR 7 years Delta V Control systems experience equivalent
  • Minimum 5 yrs of hands-on experience working with instrumentation and control systems in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong analytical & troubleshooting skills, with demonstrated ability to identify and resolve issues through monitoring of performance trends
