Job Title: Bank Teller Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Bank Teller Specialist to join our team at First Interstate Bancsystem Inc in Overland Park, KS. As a key member of our banking team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling cash transactions, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process daily teller transactions, including receiving deposits and loan payments, cashing checks, issuing savings withdrawals, and recording night and mail deposits.
  • Provide customers with account services, such as answering questions, logging transactions, and preparing currency transaction reports.
  • Cross-sell bank products by informing customers of new services and promotions, ascertaining their needs, and directing them to a branch representative.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
  • 1-3 years experience in a cash handling role required.
  • Excellent mathematical aptitude, communication skills, and interpersonal skills necessary.
